Beauty has become really important to the entire world that people often have to please others and ourselves with appearances. Cosmetics have become fashionable to the female and popular as it is used to enhance people’s appearance. Many use beauty products to hide blemishes, add colour to the face, and make the eyes appear more significant. When I watch makeup tutorials or makeup transformations on YouTube, I am amazed at how different the person looks. With the power of makeup, you can look like anything. To me, cosmetics are a fun tool to practice new techniques and try different types of makeup to see what would look nice on myself, what works or does not work for me, and see the difference in brands of beauty products. I usually do not wear makeup every day as I work many long days as a nail technician and feel that I do not want to always think about how my makeup looks and if it is holding up on my face. When I do wear it, the cosmetics I use the most are eyeliner, lipstick, and foundation. When I go to special events such as weddings, I will also apply eyeshadow and blush. I think that makeup is not always necessary, but I believe that everyone should feel beautiful and love themselves. I feel like I am beautiful with or without cosmetics.
