How the Internet enables searching for any information the user needs.

Back in the eighties, searching for any information was done manually using phone directories, newspapers or asking your closest friends. Thanks to the Internet and tech companies like Google, it is possible to search for anything at the fingertips. Today, you can find any type of information on the Internet, like audio, video, and text. Tech companies have developed search engines that use web robots to query millions of pages on the Internet and created an index of those web pages. For example, using the famous Google engine, put any key word related to your search, and many hyperlink pages will be displayed related to what you have entered. You can also filter your query by adding additional key words if the first result of your search is more general. This is how you can go from general to specific search. Searching anything anywhere is extremely easy and fast if you have the Internet connection and devise to connect.
