Traveling around the world is the dream of many people. As one of those people , I traveled from Syria to different places like Cyprus, Lebanon, and Canada. All of these places were amazing, and I have some great memories from my experiences in traveling to these places.

Canada is my station right now, I am living on PE, Charlottetown with my family. The lesson that I learned from traveling to new places is that at first they seem very strange, but then you just get used to living there, and that is what happened to me when I first arrived in Canada. Leaving my extended family was strange. For example, in Syria you work from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 pm. You have more time for cooking, and family. Here in Canada, people work longer hours. Things are more relaxed in Syria. Everyone gets a pension after working for 30 years there. However, the students in Syria are under more pressure than they are here. They must write difficult exams to enter university and it is very competitive.

Now I feel like Canada is my home country. Travelling is not as crazy and scary as it seems, it is actually more fun and exciting. I am really happy that I got to be one of these people that made their dream come true.
