Canada

Spider Lake, Nanaimo, Vancouver Island

Canada is one of the most welcoming countries in the world since here you will meet people from all over the world who coexists and share Canada’s culture and lifestyle. Geographically Canada is a Northern Lights American Country, with the U.S. in the south and the Arctic circle in the north.

Canada has ten provinces and 3 territories and it is the second largest Country in the world by total area.
It has many very beautiful cities, such as Toronto, Vancouver, Montreal, Quebec, and the capital city is Ottawa. Also, has many beautiful rivers, lakes, mountains and very famous places like Niagara Falls, which is a waterfall. The official languages are English and French. It has a population of about 37 million and the name of the country probably came from the word ''Cannata'', meaning village or camp. The First Nation people were the first people in Canada with the Units and Metis peoples. The name of this group is “aboriginal people” before the European people arrived.

Some very famous things in Canada are the Symphony Orchestra on Montreal, the acrobats of ''Cirque du Soleil'', Celine Dion, Justin Bieber and many others. Canada has many celebration dates, with the most important being July 1st, Victoria Day and Remember Day. The famous things in Canada are ice hockey, nature, wildlife, roads trips, beautiful landscapes, maple syrup, and the North lights. Also, it has very delicious meat.

I like that in Canada there are friendly people. The Canadians are really nice people. The opportunities, schools, and access in education for all the people are the same for Canadians or immigrants. I feel safe and sound because I think Canada has a low crime rate. Also, I like the straight economy and stability and finally, it has very good universal healthcare.

My most favorite place in Canada is Nanaimo Island, which I visited last summer. The natural beauty was blessed by a combination of the forest and the sea, river and the lakes. We stayed at an inn on Long Lake with a view in the lake, we rented a boat and we visited Newcastle Island and we hiked around the island. We saw many animals such as albino, raccoons, deer, rabbits and lots variety of birds. We visit many forests and one beautiful river, the ''Nanaimo River''. Our vacation in Nanaimo was very nice and for sure we will visit again in the future.
