Winter 2015

Canada

Canada is the land of opportunities. I came to this country in July, 2016. And if you are a beef lover this is the right place for you to live because it’s the beef capital of the world.

The education system of Canada comes in 4th place in the world and it’s one of the developed countries of the world. In Canada, there are 6 Time Zones. The Canadians have good etiquette and their favorite words are THANKS and SORRY, they are always in their mouth. They always keep the door open for the unknown person who is coming behind them. But the weather in Canada is pretty bad. As I live in Saskatchewan, here the temperature goes to minus double-digits. I have seen up to -35*C. At first I hated winter, but now I wait for winters because there are lots of winter activities you can do. Like you can go ice fishing or ride your snowmobile with friends, to name of a few activities. However, in summer you can enjoy rodeo, demolition derby, chuckwagon race. The province is home to roughly 100,000 lakes. So, in summer you can go for water sports or swimming on the lake.

Every Province has its own holiday destination but what I like the most is Whistler, B.C., Canada's most famous ski destination offering challenging slopes, plenty of great accommodations, and a prime spot in the beautiful Rocky Mountains.

And in summer my favorite destination is Niagara Falls, Ontario. But you can enjoy the beauty in winter as well when it gets frozen. And another favorite thing is if you like water you can go kayaking in the Rideau Canal.

Nowadays there is only 1 famous celebrity, his name is DRAKE. But I grow up watching the movie of a few famous celebrities to name some are Keanu Reeves and Jim Carrey.

In short, I say I am proud to be a CANUCK.
