After someone is retired, it is the good time to have a pet.

I love dogs and cats. I had a cat when I was 10 years old, but I lost it one day. I still remember how sad I felt and cried. My mother took me to our neighbour's house to play with the cat. We asked all the neighbours if they saw my cat, but we never found it.

Almost ten years later, I adopted a dog when I worked in Bei Jing. But I had it for only half a year because I lost it, and my heart was hurt again.

Now I think that it's good time to have a pet when you are retired because you have free time to take care of the pet. No children to wake you up, and you don't have to worry about work. Also walking a dog every day or playing with a cat can keep you busy and stop you from feeling lonely.

I decided to have a pet when I am retired.
