Coming to Canada involved many challenges. The two major difficulties were how to adapt to this new community and how fast can we able to speak the English language as well. Certainly, choosing this path was one of the toughest choices in my life.

Moving to Canada was a scary adventure. I remembered the day we came to Canada. I was terrified of everything. It was my first time out of my country away from my family and my friends. l know that l should have been excited but l felt loneliness and anxiety. Everything was unfamiliar and strange. I had zero experience and knowledge like a newborn baby.

The thought of starting over was a nightmare. However, it was the only way to beat my homesickness and fear. I started looking for a job, getting close to my neighbours and l attend an English language school. I never ever regretted the choice that I had made. Definitely, it was a big challenge but on the bright side, Canada is the best country to rebuild my kids’ future. I’m pretty sure all my sacrifices will not throw away and will be achieved one day.
