Shopping

I developed my interest in basketball when I was young. Basketball was the most popular sport in the Philippines. I specifically liked Michael Jordan and his apparel. I found his clothing line stylish, high quality and comfortable.  There were no American brand outlets in the Philippines when I was growing up. With the exchange, things were not affordable.

When I came to Canada shopping became easier and cheaper for me because I got a stable job. I discovered some outlets that carried stuff that I like such as: sneakers, shirts, pants, hats and hoodies. I specifically like shoes that are my favorite brand, "Jordan."  I especially enjoyed going to the Foot Locker outlet for shoes, and for other things, American Eagle.

Previously, I enjoyed spending money on expensive items that I knew were worth the money. Now I don’t have that money to spend. I do have a son now to support and save money for his future. I also have all kinds of bills that I need to pay such as: car, car insurance, rent, electricity and I also have two cats and a dog that I need to feed. Now I am trying to sell some of my stuff that I don't  need so I have money to spend for my shopping hobby. I also learned how to budget money; I know what money to save and what money to spend and where to spend it.

Shopping may be more difficult to do now, and I am always asking myself if I really need what I am going to buy. This can make it hard to buy myself nice things without wondering if its the right thing to do. This makes me better appreciate the nice things I have  even more as well as the things I buy for myself.
