Canada

I am going to make the comparison between Canada and back home. These places are quite different because the following aspects: work, education and safety.

First, Canada offers a variety of job opportunities for newcomers which makes it easier for people get into the canadian job market. People can take some training programs such a forklift, accounting and child care. The starting point is that people get a good chance when they join any organization to get experience by volunteering. In contrast, back home the job opportunities are going down and having in mind that our neighbor country is in crisis, lot of people is crossing the border and offering their services cheaper than the local people.

Second, Canada support the education for permanent residents. They help the new residents get the education needed. The remarkable thing is Canada helps people with language skills, and so protect the new residents making them more successful into the local culture. Also, Canada let the residents to study in college or university, and the residents do not need to be worried about how they are going to pay for their education. The government have the OSAP program which it covers the tuition for students including the living costs. On the other hand, back home, the residents must pay from their sources, or borrow money without support from the government. It makes more difficult for people to get involved in the education because it is more expensive than Canada education.

Third, Canada has a high worldwide index of safety. It is a little big weird because Canada does not have police stations in every neighbor, and people do not see police officer walking around the streets to make country safer. Moreover, people call the police and they appear right away, and they are respected by community. In contrast back home it is not too safe. People see police officers standing at some corners or walking around the city. They have police stations in every neighbor. When the people call the police, they take time to show up. Sometimes when it is nothing that people can do for avoiding any crime because police come late. This is one of the reasons that police are not respected of all.

To sum up, I prefer Canada because job opportunities, schooling and security. Canada has become the homeland for many people around the world. It is seen as a country with advantages into many aspects that are important for families, and the future generations.
