Education

There is no doubt that the telecommunications invasion has provided us with better options for learning. In some places, technology has replaced the traditional in-class learning and is now seen as pivotal for education. However, we cannot assume the replacement was done in all fields. If we look at the example of online education, we can ask ourselves: does online education replace classroom education?

E-learning tools provide students with access to resources they couldn't have had otherwise, no matter their status or location. This helps everyone, even newcomers to Canada like us who need to learn English but cannot go to regular classes. In my opinion, I think e-learning has become an education equivalent but it's still not a complete replacement for the traditional classroom. It seems to me that the education circle should be a combination of the classroom and distance education with advantages and disadvantages for both. In my life, right now, it is the best option.

Moreover, the type of learning depends on the educator’s needs. This means that the educator will determine which way is suitable to achieve a work-life-study balance. This is especially important for adult students like all of us in the LINC Home Study classes.

Overall, I completely agree that distance education is the way of the future because the world is growing every day and we need a flexible education method that allows us to save time. Learning never ends so we should always look for new technology that will help us.
