I would like to write about the library system in Ethiopia as I am from Ethiopia.  In Ethiopia there are over 70 libraries across Ethiopia; at least one in every region or province of the country; these libraries are a resource for tens of thousands of adults and children, they are a safe and quiet place to study for exams.

In Ethiopia they are a place for learning and togetherness. And most important, they are a place to access many books that are often not accessible anywhere else.

The Canadian library system is different from the library system in Ethiopia.

In Canada, students and everyone else can find a lot of information and use the facilities and even borrow books, CDs and magazines without any fee as everything is free.  Sometimes, the libraries in Canada offer free workshops and exhibitions and conduct events for the members.  Even membership is free.  The libraries in Canada also offer space, work areas, scanners, and Internet and desktop computers with a mix of design and productivity software

Libraries are very important because there are many people who love reading.  As gateways to knowledge and culture, libraries play a fundamental role of providing a safe and comfortable place in society for learning and improving your knowledge.

I would also like to add that it is a great opportunity for learning, it supports literacy and education.  Using the Internet is very important too but there will be so much distraction while we are using it nowadays.  Social media has its own disadvantages.  The new generation is dependent on the Internet for almost everything and it is easy to access information about almost everything.  So, the Internet has advantages and disadvantages it is how we use it, if we use it properly there is no harm, and it can be very useful.

In conclusion, libraries everywhere are very important and valuable.
