Parenthood

At the beginning of our marriage, my husband and I made a decision to enjoy our first year as much as we could before having children. My daughter’s birth was two years from date of our marriage, and those years were amazing! We travelled to many countries and did crazy things like going to the cinema at midnight. We really had so much fun during that time, but after our daughter was born, things changed. We had fun with her too, but with children comes a lot of responsibility. Our fun life of travel and fun was in the past.

The hardest time for me it was when I tried with her to potty train her. It was so funny for me too because I tried with her when she was 2 years old, but I couldn’t make her learn it. After that, I tried again after one year when she was three years old and finally, we did it. That was a lot of fun for me and her since we made a big game out of it and laughed a lot. These days parents can spend a lot of time with their kids if the mother doesn’t work like me. Now, all my time is devoted to my daughters, but once I will get a job, I think it will be hard to spend enough time like now for me. I prefer to spend time with my children now than work. I know I am lucky that I don’t have to, like some other women, but now it is my choice and I love being a mom!
