Parenthood

Someone told me one day that the worst job in the world it is to be a home maker. She told me,

“You work 24 hours hard work every day for free and no one sees how hard you work.”

When I got married and had 3 little children, I could definitely see that it is true. It is a very sad situation, but everyone has a choice how to look at their own lot in life. Even though it is true,

I decided not to give in to these thoughts and have tried to make my life at home easier.

First of all, I decided to make a list of all my housework tasks and divide them into different categories: cleaning, cooking, shopping, child care, husband care, and self-development.

After that, I made a schedule for the week. Thanks to this, I know what I have to do and when I have to do every day. I divided big tasks into small parts. Now it’s easier for me to cope with the work. For example: I used to clean my house once a week and it took me several hours. Now I spend 15-20 minutes on cleaning every day.

Another advantage of a schedule for a week is if I plan in advance important positive activities for my family and myself, there is a high probability that I will not forget to do it. Otherwise, I will be cleaning and cooking all day or spending my time doing unnecessary things.

I hope that this way will help me handle my responsibilities and make my life easier. In conclusion, now I can enjoy my family more instead of being stressed all the time.
