Seasonal

man in winter clothing shivering

When I first came to Canada, I got very cold one winter day.

I went out and I wasn't wearing warm clothes, so I got frostbite. My skin was almost turning black, and I think my blood circulation was slow.

Then, I went to the hospital, and the doctor told me frostbite can permanently damage the skin, and I was scared. He told me you must keep warm when you go out. He also told me not to rub the skin that has frost bite because you can permanently damage the skin.  Now, when I go out, I remember to wear warm clothes likes gloves, scarf and hat, and not get frostbite.
