Travel (Outside of Canada)

Prague clock tower under sunlight

Prague for me is the best place to enjoy vacations whether I am traveling alone or with friends, family and kids. Prague is a place for all kinds of people and people of all ages. It has many tourist attractions and places to visit. I visited Prague in 2011 with my family. Prague is one of the best old cities in all of Europe. The whole of Prague is like a fairy tale of its own, with the millions of unbelievable stories running through its veins and with its beautiful castles, cathedrals, old bridges, museums, romantic streets, numerous gardens and lots more.  It is a mixture of buildings in the Gothic, Baroque and Art Nouveau architectures and the Vltava River passing through the city.

Prague is best known for its bridge, clock, and fairytale-like town square, but there are also plenty of delicious foods to eat in Prague. Prior to traveling to Prague, I didn’t know much about Czech cuisine. By doing some research, talking to some friends, and taking an excellent food tour, I had a great introduction to all of the best foods to eat in Prague. I was pleasantly surprised by all that Prague had to offer and I’d be happy to eat there again any day!

I have been lucky to visit this city twice and explored many parts and aspects of this charming city. On both these occasions I have loved the mixture of the old world charm and the new world rhythm that is just Prague.
