Celebration

The Klaipeda Sea Festival in Lithuania takes place during the month of July, since 1934. The festival usually starts at the end of July and lasts 3 days. The Main Street is closed and all people come using public transportation. There are a lot things decorated with sea attibutes. There are concerts, carnivals and local markets with handmade tools, crafts, locally produced food and clothes. The Klaipeda Sea festival has an international sailing event, street theaters, and children's performances. The performers and sailors come from different countries. Every year, the program is new. It is one of the bigger festivals in Klaipeda and we love it.
