Driving

people, road, traffic in Cairo

I think driving in my country, Egypt, is very dangerous. Drivers don’t follow the law and most them don’t even have driver’s license. The main streets and the highways are under very bad conditions and the government doesn’t fix them because they don’t have the money. In addition, drivers don’t care about pedestrians; they just care about themselves, their time, and their personal safety.

In winter there are many accidents every morning because most of students go to school on foot, there are many students who pass away or get injured due to careless driving. In the other hand, In Canada, the Ministry of Transportation tend to focus on punishing careless drivers; teaching them how to respect pedestrians, school buses and the law. In conclusion, law is well followed in Canada, but is not well followed in Egypt.
