Employment

Close up on police belts

I want to be a police office because it's my passion. Also, when I came to Canada, I faced a very bad time. Because of this experience, I decided that I would like to do something where I can help the community. But nobody here seemed to be able to properly guide me about any field. When I talked with my friends and relatives, they gave me positive and negative feedback. One day I received an email from HMC Connections (Halton Multicultural Council) about "How to be a Police Officer”. At that time, I was unable to attend the seminar. I had baby sitter problems. Instead, I have collected a lot of information about police officers from Google. Finally, God sent me one person. She is my very close friend. She is in security in the head office of Peel Police. I talked with her. She cleared all my doubts and gave me more information about police jobs. I attended the information session about police officers/constables. I got very useful information from the police recruitment officer. It’s a career that carries challenges, causes you to regularly use your critical thinking skills, offers a variety of daily duties and appealing tasks. It affords you the opportunity to use your problem-solving abilities etc. Helping people is great and law enforcement officers do help people. I am very thankful to my friend and Halton Police Recruitment.
