Conceptual house composed of DIY and construction tools on hardwood flooring, top view

I have been living for three years here in Canada. My husband and I decided to buy a small house, because house rentals have been increasing year by year and we thought we should be wiser with our money. We bought a small house without a garage and it was cheaper than others at that time. Of course, it needed a lot of work. My husband and I started cleaning, fixing all the holes in the walls, sanding and painting. It was really hard and all of it was new for us. Everything here is completely different from back home. We had learned about the tools which helped us in our renovation before doing anything.

We did not have any idea about home renovations-even how to paint! Actually, back home nobody does anything by themselves, they just call a handyman or repairman to fix the issue. Now, after we have finished all this hard work, we have experienced depending on ourselves to fix small problems and we are proud of ourselves!
