Motherhood

My mom is the best mom in the world. She comes from  a family of six kids. There are three boys and three girls. My mom is oldest. She is a very kind and hard-working mother. I remember when I was about six or seven years old and my mom had a fever and very bad cough. That didn’t stop her from working on the rice farm. She was a good wife for my dad. Like my grandparents, my parent had six kids three boys and three girls as well. When I was young our family was poor but we never went without food.

Mother’s Day in Thailand is August 12. Mother’s Day is based on the Queen's 9th  birthday. When I lived close to my mom I always gave her a present or I took her out for dinner. When I was not home I would call her on the phone.

My mom had a good life and when we grew up our family improved financially. My mom could go travelling, which she loved. On Mother’s Day once I bought a gold chain for my mom and she was very happy. Normally in my country jasmine is the flower to give to mother for Mother’s Day.

My mom passed away on May 13, 2013. It really broke my heart. But it doesn’t matter how long ago she passed away, she is still in my memories. I love you very much mom.
