Parenthood

Mother and son playing on the beach at the sunset time. Concept of friendly family.

I used to be a night owl. Going out drinking and dancing every weekend, spending money and doing whatever I wanted. I liked my life!

My pregnancy had a significant impact on my life. Once you become pregnant, your body undergoes many transformations.  Some physical changes are visible such as weight gain and an expanding belly. Some people have morning sickness, become emotional or their appetite changes.  But these changes make you become strong and responsible as a mother. Once I realized that I was pregnant, it was impossible for me to be a night owl anymore, physically and mentally, and I slowly started to have maternal instincts.

Then, after you deliver your baby, you have no time to do anything, especially for the first couple of years. Even staying in the washroom for five minutes by myself became very precious for me. Being a mother is a hard job.  Every day is challenging, working 24/7 for your children without getting paid.   However, it stirs so many emotions to see your kids grow.  I’m blessed to have my daughter in my life.

Thank you for being my daughter. You are my sunshine!
