My first experience in Canada with buying clothes by myself in a clothing store, was something that was very hard for me because I didn’t know how to ask questions and didn’t understand the English language. However, Canadians are friendly and they know that I am not good at English. They tried to explain that the prices are good, there are many sizes and you can try the clothes on.

Shopping in Canada is easy because it is always clean and there is a cart that we can bring our children shopping in and we do not have to worry about money.  Usually everyone doesn’t use cash but they use credit cards or debit cards more and can change the item if there is a problem.

Shopping online in Canada is something that is easy for people who don’t have time to shop, and it’s a good way to choose colors, sizes and different styles. But there are disadvantages of ordering online, because sometimes they send the wrong one and the goods arrive differently from the picture. Plus, it’s not easy to exchange.

In Thailand, we use cash to pay when shopping. We do not have a credit card to pay, because our market is a fresh market selling products from the forest or vegetables locally grown and they change everyday. We don’t have a cart to use, since we hold everything that we bought ourselves. Also, we cannot return the product if there is a problem. We don’t shop online in Thailand because they don’t send the items when you order.

I prefer shopping more in Canada than in Thailand.
