Travel (Outside of Canada)

It was October 2018 when I decided to plan a surprise trip to Las Vegas for my husband’s birthday.  So I started doing research on the Internet and asking friends about where to stay, where we can eat good food, and what places we can visit. Τhe truth is that I searched a lot before deciding and it was difficult to decide because Las Vegas has many hotels, restaurants and shows.

After I booked the tickets and hotel, I had to announce it to my husband a few days before in order to get permission for time off from his job. I will not forget the day I told him that this year I decided to give him his gift a few days earlier and the joy of his eyes when he saw what he was. Αnd how could he not be happy about being just the two of us for three days after having been in Canada for five years.   Because I forgot to say that I have two young children and I have to leave them somewhere. And of course, I thank their godmothers because without them this trip could not have happened.

The day came and we arrived by plane to Las Vegas, where we took a taxi and went to the hotel.

The weather was fantastic for the first of November. I remember feeling like I was in my country of Greece as the climate is the same.  Our hotel was on the strip and we all proposed to stay in a hotel on this road.  All the hotels were different and each had a different city and different architecture and it is worth it to visit, only to see these hotels. Τhe one I liked the most is in a hotel where the water was dancing in the rhythm of music.  Τhe casinos were all so impressive that if you have money you can spend all of your day there.  Τhe drinks are free as long as you play, just give some tips to the waitresses.

Now for the food, you have many choices from the simplest to the most special. What I really liked was their burger meat tasted very good.  The nightlife is perfect I would say. I would say, there are a thousand lights all the way around the hotels and it was fantastic. You have a lot of choices about where to go and have fun as it has many nightclubs and many shows. It will be good if someone wants to go to the shows to buy the tickets via the internet because maybe he cannot find it. You can meet people from all over the word and that is amazing.

It’s very safe places but you must stay on the strip and don't try to walk by yourself somewhere dark, lol.

I would say also don't take kids with you because it's no place for kids.  Now the shopping is very expensive but you can find good sales at the malls.   It was the best time I ever had in my life.

It was three amazing days and I wish I could visit this place again very soon.
