Small Orange Tent and Travel Trailer in the Background. Deep Forest Campground

After three days and two nights’ stay in the camping site, my family and I are very happy about our memorable experience there. After a few months of busy days working and building our garage, we decided to have some fun and bond with some of our close friends.

David Laird Campground is 156 km, or about two hours’ drive from Rosetown, in North Battleford, Saskatchewan. We chose this camping site because it is not too far from our place and we would not be exhausted from the trip, so we would have the energy to enjoy the evening. We reached the site at about 7:00 pm, just in time for supper and singing around the campfire. The campfire adds to fun for the kids, and the young at heart like me enjoyed grilling hotdogs and marshmallows. We also enjoyed eating the best steak ever marinated in secret ingredients by our friend who is working as a master chef in one of the finest restaurants here in Rosetown. Time flew and we couldn’t believe that it was almost 12:00 am and already time to go to bed.

Compared to any other campground we visited, David Laird Campground is one of the most relaxing and quiet places to visit. It is a nice place on the outskirts of the town, a few miles away from the city to go swimming, and play basketball and soccer. Also, if you want to try your luck to win big money, a few minutes away there is a casino.

The campground also has shower and washroom facilities, firewood, a store, telephone, stocked trout pond, and many recreational facilities. In addition, the staff is very friendly and the place is clean and with nicely maintained grounds.

If you want to have a memorable experience too, this is one of the places to consider to go.
