Bios

I was born in Chennai, one of the major cities in India. I grew up in the developing part of the city with my brother and parents. My mother stayed at home and looked after us. My father worked to support my family.

I remember seeing my father biking home from work looking tired. I used to play in the street with my friends and ran home before he saw me. He wanted me to study and would get angry if I played in the street.

My childhood is full of happy memories of good friends, school and fun. During my summer holidays I used to visit my grandmother. She lived in a village. It was beautiful with fields and small houses. I liked to play there with my cousins.

I finished school and worked a few small jobs and also helped my father at work. I completed a course as a Nursing Technician and started working in hospitals. I liked to work in the ICU and now I want to work in a hospital again. I met my wife in the hospital. We got married and came to Canada. We have two children. I love them very much and will sacrifice anything for them.

I work in Dollarama. I work here because I can look after my family. I can work at Dollarama when my wife is not working. This way we can both look after the children. They are three and one year old.
