What Do I Like about Canada?

I came to Canada with my family, my husband and my son, on the 23rd of June, 2011. I have been living in this country for more than five years now.
In my opinion, my family has made the right decision when we moved to Canada. I feel we are very lucky to live in Saskatchewan. There are many advantages of living in Canada. It is a peaceful country where people follow the laws; the country has a well-developed educational system, which allows the students to pursue many career opportunities after they graduate from colleges or universities.
Canada is a peaceful country. Crime rates are relatively low and people live safely. Unlike in some countries, they can go anywhere any time without fear-no need to think about their safety. Luckily, we do not hear about many crimes in my neighborhood in Saskatchewan. I think one of the reasons why it is so peaceful here is because the laws in Canada are very strict, and all people are required to follow them. If people don’t obey the laws, they will be caught by the police and penalized. The penalties in Canada are very high; therefore, everyone is alert and careful.
Canada has a very developed educational system. Many people in Canada continue taking classes throughout their lifetime, participating in distance and continuing education courses. Education for kids from the kindergarten to Grade 12 is free, and the students can get loans for university or college education.
This country offers a lot of career opportunities for students. If students are interested in getting a job, they can start as early as 14 years old. People help each other by volunteering in their communities, which, I feel, is very characteristic of Canadians. Additionally, people are trying hard to do well on their job by focusing on their own work and always finding ways to improve.
I believe Canada is a very nice place to live in. There are many things that make me a proud Canadian resident, such as safety, extensive education and career opportunities, cultural diversity and excellent health care system. Canada also has a wonderful natural environment, which will impress people who choose to live in or visit this beautiful country.
