In this summer on August 18th, I went with my family to Niagara Falls. We all were very excited because this was the first time we went to Niagara Falls. My husband was a little scared because he was not very used to driving a car on a highway, so that's why I had a printout of a highway route map and guided my husband.

After a two-hour drive, we reached Niagara Falls at 2 o'clock. When I first saw the Falls I felt romantic. The power of the falling water and whooshing noise was making me hypnotized. It was a sunny day and Falls made a colourful rainbow. We used the incline railway to easily reach the bridge of flowers and the ticket was $2.75 for one way. After we saw the Falls, we all became hungry. I made chicken biryani for this trip the night before. We ate this delicious biryani while watching the Falls.

Surrounding the Falls there are many souvenir shops. My daughters bought keychains with the writing "I Love Niagara Falls" and Canadian flag magnets. My husband bought a 2017 calendar with Niagara Falls pictures. It was time to return home because time was very short, but I enjoyed the trip very much. We decided that we will go there again very soon because a half day is not enough to see all the places. Next time we will book a hotel for two days.

If you plan to take a trip to Niagara Falls, remember to visit some of the places like "Maid of the Mist" boat ride, "Caves of the Winds" tour, gorge trip and view of whirlpool in the aero car. Fireworks make the Falls very colourful like a rainbow. We will plan to see all the above places on our next visit.
