My dear friends, as you already know there are many different interesting professions. They help us to make our world more interesting and varied. The person who obtained a profession can build cities, design machines, write books and much more. How do you understand this and choose your field? It is a responsibility and not so easy, but each of you kids will have to make that choice in the future. This report tells you about my profession.

My name is Victoria and my specialty is robotics. This is a specific sphere of activity, but it is very interesting, very exciting and even creative. You all know what the robots are, but the specifics of work with them differ. Robots can explore, be trained, design and program. Robots are used in various types of activity such as medicine, space, automotive, mechanical engineering, military and even at home.

Before entering this field I thought about going to the faculty of "Automated Control", but eventually selected the faculty of “Cybernetics” and specialization robotics. Maybe I chose this career because in high school I was very into science fiction. The book “Three laws of robotics” by Isaac Asimov was one of my most favorite books. I graduated from the University and it took me 5.5 years. At the University we studied design principles of robots, but primarily is involved in their operation and programming. My thesis project was devoted to the diagnostics of robots robotic systems

I love that, but to have this opportunity, to work with robots, you guys need to read a lot and learn well. I hope this report will help you in your researching careers.
