I am Dibya from Nepal. I used to live in Kathmandu and Pokhara in Nepal. I moved to Canada in January 2012. I live in Orangeville because my husband lives here. Here are the three cities I have lived in.

Kathmandu is the capital city of Nepal. The population of Kathmandu is 1.3 million. Public transportation in Kathmandu is easily available. You don't need a private vehicle to go somewhere. There are different types of shopping places. You can buy cheap and expensive things. There are many temples in Kathmandu, that is why it is also called the City of Temples. Nepal's only international airport is in Kathmandu. There are many universities in Kathmandu. Many rivers flow through Kathmandu; for example, the River Bagmati, the River Bishnumati, etc. Nepal's most famous religious places, Pashupatinath, is in Kathmandu. There are good things about Kathmandu but also bad things. The air is not very clean. There are electricity shortages. Overall, Kathmandu is trying to make it a better place to live.

Pokhara is the second largest city of Nepal after Kathmandu. The population of Pokhara is 1 million. There are many lakes in Pokhara; for example, Fewa Lake, Begnas Lake, etc. You can see beautiful mountains from Pokhara Valley. There are many fun activities for tourist like paragliding, mountain climbing, canoeing, bungee jumping, etc. There are many caves to visit; for example, Mahindra Cave, Bat Cave, etc. The air in Pokhara is very clean and fresh. The climate is not cold nor hot. In Pokhara, you can grow vegetables and fruit every season. Finally, Pokhara is a nice place to go for vacation.

Orangeville, Ontario, is a small town but it is very beautiful. The population of Orangeville is 27,000. Everything is near; like doctor's office, hospital, grocery stores, shopping stores, Walmart, Home Depot, public school, high school, parks, etc. A lot of trees are planted in the town. It is not crowded. It is nice and quiet. There are lots of restaurants in Orangeville. There are many Victorian houses. There are many beautiful lakes in Orangeville. The Public Library in the town is big and wonderful. The court houses in the town are old and large. There are many churches in the town. In summer, every Saturday, the town has a farmer's market. Everything is good but there is a lot of snow in the winter time.

I enjoyed living in different cities. I got a chance to visit many beautiful places. My favourite city is Pokhara because it is rich in natural beauty.
