Recycling is how we take trash and transform it into new products, without producing any extra waste; in other words putting a second use to things that we would just throw away.
The reason why recycling is important for kids, is that, if they learn about it, they will know that when throwing away their trash, it might be reusable and has to be separated from other trash when thrown away. Firstly, this teaches them to be responsible and secondly, it teaches them to start being environmentally friendly. This works best and should be best taught to children at a young age, as young as possible, so it becomes a habit for them.
In conclusion recycling might seem like a small task and useless, however, if children are taught at a young age, they could carry this environmentally friendly habit with them into teen years and adulthood.
