“Canada gives poor children and immigrants a better chance at success than most other countries, and this gives Canada a leg up on enriching the lives of the 200,000 plus immigrants who choose this country as their home every year.”

I agree with the statement above. Canada gives plenty of opportunities to Immigrants to achieve their dreams and become successful in various fields especially in education. Canada has a strong commitment toward education and Canada has highest ranks in the world per capita for spending in public education.

It is a fact that most people from the developing countries move to Canada to get better lives. In my view most of the Immigrants work hard to achieve their dreams and become successful. Most of them are hard-working compare to local people. They like to work and learn something new. Some of them like to study to get a better job. They like to improve their skills and knowledge. As you can see most immigrants work in the better fields such as doctor, lawyer, businessman, teacher, architect, hospitality, accountant, or in the government position while local people work as ordinary worker.

Although I agree with Canada gives a leg up to enriching the immigrants but in fact there are several immigrants still struggling for life. For example the foreign worker with working visa. When their working visa expires they can’t renew it because the government regulation only let them work for 2 years and they have to go back to their own country.

In summary, some immigrants can achieve their dream in Canada and become successful but some others are still struggling for their lives.
