My name is Javed and originally, I am from Afghanistan but I was born in Pakistan and spent 22 years of my life in Pakistan as refugee. I am working fulltime in construction doing flooring and I have been doing this job since 2017. I have completed high school in Pakistan but unfortunately, I count not continue my education after high school in there because of financial problems and most importantly as refugee we were facing security issues every day.

I was thinking once I moved to Canada, I will start and continue getting education in there, but unfortunately it was not happened because starting a new chapter of life never been easy for anyone. I faced many challenges and I had to work very hard to support myself and my family to be settle and have good life.

I really love education and education is the most powerful weapon by which we can change the world. I am too happy that at least I am trying to start from somewhere and I hope the best for everyone and for myself.
