My new dog’s name is Max. He is very friendly and he likes to play a lot, is full of energy, is good with kids and is only four months old. My daughter has already made me build a dog house and we bought a custom made collar with his name on it. Pets are expensive and we have already taken him to the vet. We just got him one week ago and he has already damaged my new bike. We take him to the dog park every day.

Since we got this dog we have been taking him to the dog park every day and we walk him around the block for one hour. My daughter is training him to sit and stay in one place while she cleans the dog house. That way, she doesn’t have to chase him around when she is finished. She is also teaching him how to be nice with other dogs. Right now there are no rules for Max because we are keeping him outside for the summer. Probably by winter we are going to keep him inside the house and there will be some rules. Max sleeps outside in the tiny dog house and we are giving him dog food (Purina) for puppies under one year old, and sometimes he has leftovers from supper.

The new dog routine basically is: morning walk around the block, dog park in the evening, and lots of running in the backyard of the house. Max is a German Shepherd and he is dark brown. We love our dog.
