Homeland

Multicolored houses among the green trees and blue sky. Panoramic view from the hill. Placed in Kiev

In Ukraine there are lots of different homes. Some of them are big, some of them are small, and both can have one or two levels. The size and levels depends on how much money people have for building. Ukrainian homes are usually made of brick, have 2,3, and 4 bedrooms that are different sizes. If people have a car then they have a garage, if they have no a car then there is no garage. Also, homes have backyards. The kitchens have cupboards and appliances, but different people have different appliances. Some have less and some have more. Ukrainian homes have no basements. If it is a two level home then the kitchen is only on the first level. Lots of people have homes, usually they are in villages. Cities have some districts where there are homes, but usually they are apartments.

In my city, Nova Kakhovka, there is no real downtown area because it has grown so much. The districts have all come together. There are many apartment buildings. My town of Parksville, BC here in Canada is smaller. It is cleaner. There are more brick houses in Ukraine. The houses on Vancouver Island are not as solid. They build them quickly here.
