My name is Saron. I'm from Eritrea. When I was young, I remember I helped my mom and Dad. I played soccer with my friends almost every day. I was a student in Eritrea. I left Eritrea and went to Ethiopia. I got married.

First my husband came to Canada, and then I came. I moved to a new country. It is a big change. I feel lucky, and I studied a lot of things. I'm happy to be here in Canada. Life in Canada is easy. I feel safe and happy. I live with my husband and daughter. I love it with all my heart.

My dream is to speak English fluently. I want to travel and meet new people. I believe English will open many doors for my future. I want to be a nurse.
