Apple cake

Ingredients

  • 300 g of regular flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
    115 g butter (It should be soft)
  • 220 g of sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 large egg
  • 240 ml buttermilk
  • Large apples (Granny Smiths)

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

Coat a 24 cm spring form pan with butter and flour.

Mix the flour, baking powder and salt.

Stir the softened butter with the sugar until it is creamy.

Add vanilla extract, egg and stir smoothly.

Stir in the buttermilk alternately with the flour until a smooth dough is formed.

Put the dough into the prepared pan.

Peel the apples, quarter and core them.

Cut them into slices and place them like a fan on the dough, so that they touch each other.

Put the pan in the oven and bake it for about 1 hour. Enjoy it!
