The weekend before Halloween, my family went to Montreal. Despite only being a 5-hour distance, it felt like a different country. Most people were speaking French.

On our drive, we travelled through Brockville, Ontario. There’s an old train tunnel in Brockville that had been decorated with lights and music. My family really liked the continuously changing lights. When we passed through the tunnel, we came out in front of Lake Ontario. Some people were kayaking there. When they got close to us, my kids yelled because the kayakers were wearing Halloween costumes! They were dressed as witches. What a fun surprise!

We have a great memory in this trip.
