Arts

Music is the most mysterious of all arts. Music is able to express each movement of the soul without words. Not everyone can understand music in terms of seeking reflection of thoughts and different experiences. However, listening to music each person feels that it talks to him and talks about him, and says something very important.

About five years ago, I discovered for myself a young and divinely talented Korean pianist and composer, Yiruma.  From that moment, my life is not the same as it was before. I see the world through the prism of Yiruma’s music. Everything is more beautiful, more peaceful and simply perfect. I see his music everywhere-it’s in softly falling rain drops, in a warm spring wind, in falling autumn leaves, in sunsets, and even in the starry sky. In those moments, I feel that boundless sense of gratitude to the universe. Yiruma is playing classical music which evokes a feeling of incredible tranquility, ease and a simple joy of being. I like walking on rainy days and listening to his music, because I feel like time stands still and I can see all the splendour of nature.

The famous writer Hans Christian Andersen said once, “Where words fail, music speaks.” These words absolutely describe Yiruma’s music. I have found my music; music that makes me happy. Do not stop listening to music and you will find your music that talk to you, and about you.
