To make a delicious stew that called Gorme-Sabzi, you need to follow these steps.
- Fry onion, turmeric, and garlic.
- Trim meat (preferably lamb) and cut into small cubes. Then, stir over high heat.
- Add dried limes (make small holes in them), water, soaked dried kidney beans, salt and pepper to taste.
- Add prepared vegetables (mixture of parsley, leeks, fenugreek leaves) to frying pan and wait for few minutes.
- Add herbs to meat and beans, cover it and simmer for 2 hours.
- Serve it with white cooked rice.
