Seasonal

I have lived in Toronto, Canada since January 2013 and I will describe my first spring here. When I arrived in Canada, I did not know anything about this it. The last day before my travel my boss told me, " Canada is a cold country," but I never thought it was too much.  This is my first time that I have lived in a country with the four seasons: winter, spring , autumn  and summer.

In my country, Venezuela, we just have summer and winter.

Spring is a happy season because all Canadians wait for this season.  Winter is finished and no more snow, no cold days, so now we can see beautiful colours everywhere as life comes back around. For example, we can see rainbows and I think that affects people and makes them feel happy. Kids and adults have fun watching rainbows because the colour is light, fresh and decorate the environment and the sky with rainbows that looks awesome.

 Spring is a time of transformation, the first flowers appear in March, the first leaves emerge very late, and it is also the season of birds and new life. For me, the most important event in this season is Easter and my birthday of course! 

Easter is the Christian celebration of the resurrection of Jesus Christ which is marked on Good Friday. Usually Easter is in either March or April. Another reason to love spring!!

My family and me like spring, we love the weather and enjoy every sunny and colourful day.
