Air India Boeing Delhi Airport.

I was born in Kerala, India. Kerala is in the extreme south of India and is full of greenery. Kerala is also called “God’s Own Country”. My father was a company manager and my mother was a teacher. After completing my high school diploma I studied civil draftsmanship and received my National Trade Certificate.

I have liked sports since I was a young age, so I also studied Physical Education. After completing my education, I went to the Middle East for a job. For a couple of years I worked in Saudi Arabia. At the age of 29 I got married and I have two children. After we got married, we settled in our hometown. At that time I was working in a college as an office assistant.

In 2007 we moved to the USA. My wife was working in a company and I didn’t have a work permit at that time, so I looked after our children. For seven years we lived in New Jersey and we had many struggles because I couldn’t get a work permit.

In 2014 we got permanent residence in Canada so we moved to Canada. When we came to Canada we found that everyone was very helpful and understanding. The Canadian New Immigrant Center gave a lot of information for living in Canada that was really helpful for us to settle. At first I was open to work for all jobs. I got a job as a general labourer through an agent. After three months, the company hired me as a permanent employee. After two years, I got an opening in the pharmaceutical industry as a production technician. Before starting my career here, I didn’t know about any medicine and how it is manufactured. This company gives good training, so now I enjoy my job very much.

Driving is my hobby. I drive a lot and have visited so many places all over Canada. It is a beautiful country with mountains, lakes and lots of green spaces. Living in Canada has given me piece of mind.
