My name is Felipa. I was born at Dagupan City, Pangasinan, Philippines. My first language is Tagalog. I have been in Canada since 2007 October 9. At present, I am residing in Hamilton, Ontario. I have two girls and one boy. My oldest daughter is a Physical Therapist and my second child which is my son is a Mechanical Engineer in the Philippines, but at present he is a mechanic and my third child is a Computer Engineer in the Philippines too, but at present she is working at Ferrero chocolate factory. And I am married to a half Chinese and half Filipino. Unfortunately, my husband passed away last February 2018.

I took my education here in Canada last 2007 at Central Health Institute as Personal Support Worker. At present I am working in a community at Bayshore Home Health. Having goals is an important part of any person’s life. Goals urge you to do your best and try harder. Developing skills in communication is very important to me. I believe that communication of life, without it we're last.

I am taking this course because I believe that I can improve my academic writing and professional opportunities. It’s very convenient, you don’t have to worry about getting ready at a set time each and everyday. You can also have the luxury of learning at your own place. Secondly you need both discipline and motivation because there will be anyone around that tell you what or how to go about learning environment.
