Driving

Model of red cabriolet with opened doors and hood and wrench on wooden surface

The car is a part of life nowadays. We live in a busy, active, developing century that requires new and updated machines all the time. It's hard to live in the future and have everything new come out in your life. This is why, it's very important to take good care of whatever you have. This rule follows for cars too. It's an expensive piece of equipment. But if we treat them well they can last for very long.

My grandfather had a very old car, but it worked like it was new. Every weekend he used to go under his car and check everything. He never went to the mechanic shop, because he knew how to fix it and what was needed for his car. It was a very old car which I mentioned before, but his car had no sound, no dust, not even a dent on the outside. This is how I understood very well that if we take care, we can keep our old items and make them last longer and make them last forever.

If we can take good care of our cars we save our money, save waste, save energy and also save labour. We're producing so much garbage everywhere because we either don’t know how to fix things or we don’t want to or it is too expensive; this is why we should not add the automobile to the already growing pile of garbage items.  This is very important.

Plus when we learn how to fix our car it saves money for us too. For example: changing tires, changing oil, fixing the lights, polishing the exterior, etc. If we can do these easy jobs we save a lot of money and these are not very hard things to do either.  Hence, it is very important to take good care of your car

However, the time has come for change and in a few years the present day car as we know it will soon become obsolete as technology is changing rapidly.  Sweden is already way ahead.
