Chicken Curry Recipe

Ingredients:
- Chicken: about 1/2 kg medium sized pieces
- Onion: 1 medium size
- Tomato: 1 medium size
- Ginger & garlic paste: 1\2 teaspoon
- Salt: 1+1/2 teaspoon
- Red chili powder: 1/2 teaspoon
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Coriander powder: 1/4 teaspoon
- Cumin seeds: 1/4 teaspoon
- Cloves: 3 or 4
- Gram masala: 1/3 teaspoon
- Green chilies: 3
- Oil: 1/4 cup
- Water :3 cups
All the above spices are available in most grocery stores in “International food” aisle.
Preparation:
- First add chopped onion in the oil and cook it until golden brown, then add chicken in it, and cook until chicken becomes soft.
- Add ginger, garlic paste and tomato in it and cook until tomatoes are softened and get mixed completely.
- Now add all spices.
- Add water three cups and cover the pot. Let it cook for 15 minutes on low flame.
- Turn off the flame and garnish it with green peppers.
Serve it with hot chapatis or rice.
