Travel (Outside of Canada)

My first travel abroad happened when I graduated from university.

I visited Czech Republic with my best friend and her boy-friend. None of us had ever been outside Russia before. It was amazing! We walked a lot, discovering new places and eating fabulous food. We saw a very beautiful castle which was built on a hill. You could see the nearest villages in the valley from the tower of this castle.

I've been in South Asia a few times with my husband. He opened this part of the world for me. Adorable and wild Asia with long, white, sandy beaches. Most of the Asian countries are very reasonably priced and you can travel there very cheaply as a tourist. Although there are many luxury resorts, you can find cheaper accommodation in private places, such as small villas where you can rent a room or apartment to meet all your home away from home needs.

If you want to forget about the whole world and just stay on the beach or the top of a rock and watch how the ocean’s waves break the rocks, you definitely should visit one of the small islands in the heart of South Asia.
