A morning walk is the best exercise and easy for everyone to do. It costs nothing, but it is suitable for all ages. There are people that say early to bed and early to rise makes a person healthy, wealthy and wise. I am the type of person who is used to working in the afternoon/evening. As a result, I always go to bed late and get up late. Now my health is not as good as it used to be and my doctor has been doing a lot of tests for all most one year. He told me I have to change my life style habits. I made my mind up to start going to bed early and getting up early to go for a morning walk. It is light exercise and great for physical fitness. The morning air is fresh and pure for the lungs. Morning time is very cool and crisp; everything looks and smells fresh. A cool breeze blows and a walk at that time is really very enjoyable.

I have been going for a walk daily from four months and now I never miss it. I get up earlier than I ever have, leave my house by six and do a one hour walk. I go to a local park where they have some exercise equipment. I do some leg and arm stretches and I spend more than one hour there, and other people come for a walk/exercise too. I always see 2-3 people walking with their dogs. I feel happy when I see my new friends and feel a part of the community which would not have happened if I didn’t listen to my doctor! We always give a smile and say good morning to each other. Now I feel happier and healthier than before.
