Kazakhstan flag with Canada flag, 3D rendering

I am from Kazakhstan and my first language is Russian. I was born in a small town called Ust-Kamenogorsk which is located in eastern Kazakhstan. I finished high school at the end of Grade 11, and then went to university to study Economics. Every day after school I had a part-time job and there I met my future husband. After four years, I graduated from university, then married and we had a son. We decided to apply for immigration to Canada because my husband’s sister and family, and parents already lived there. My relatives live in Kazakhstan. I miss them so much, so every summer we go to our home country to meet my family and our friends.

We moved to Canada in December 2015. I am happy to live here for many reasons. First of all this country is beautiful, very clean and green. Secondly, I love the wet climate and fresh air. Also, Canadians are friendly and smiley.

After one year of living in Canada we had a little baby girl. Our older son goes to elementary public school where he has learned to communicate with other students very quickly because he is very talkative and smart. He started playing hockey in Kazakhstan and has continued in Canada as a goalie. He made the right choice and he is doing well. I’m proud of him! We are happy that we decided to come to Canada.
