My name is Mirna, I am a mother of two lovely kids, a boy and a girl, 17 and 10 years old. My hobbies are reading, swimming and cooking. My homeland is Syria and I came to Canada with my husband and our kids. I worked as a teacher in my country and I have a Bachelor of Education. I like working with kids and I have 18 years of experience. When the bad war started in Syria, we decided to get out of Syria to another country to keep our kids safe, so we moved to Jordan and we faced a lot of challenges there, like getting jobs, chances to support our family and we were lucky even though the difficult circumstances, because I worked there as a teacher in kindergarten and my husband worked as a cashier at one of the restaurants. We lived in Jordan for three years and then we moved to Canada, the most beautiful, safe and big country. All my family is happy, me and my husband are very proud of ourselves because we got a good and big chance to start safe and good life beside the good future for our kids. We got a new life that is right, but we still have many challenges, we have to start from the beginning so we need a good language. We started to go to school in the morning and work in the afternoon at Ottawa Bakery me and my husband too ,we baked different kinds of cake, muffin and loaf. That was a little bit hard so I quit that job and I opened my home daycare and I am happy with that but I still have a lot of things I have to do, like to improve my English first. Then I can study some college courses, that is my goal.
