Time flies. So quickly, it's already the last day of June. It means that half of the year has passed. One of my sons will soon be in Grade One in September. We wanted to hold a special graduation ceremony at home for his graduation from kindergarten, because their school was closed due to COVID-19.

After deciding to have a graduation ceremony at home, we started to prepare for a special party. First, I drew a graduation certificate.

Second, I collected some photos about his learning experience in school, his life in school and his classmates in kindergarten class.

Then, I made a short video about the time he spent-his two years in kindergarten.

Finally, I went to buy some party items, such as balloons, face painting materials, his favorite snacks and gifts and so on.

The day before the ceremony, I made a big and beautiful cake, some ice cream and candy. At the same time, my husband decorated the deck as we held our little party it on the deck.

When the day arrived, my son got up very early because he was eager to start the party. Even though we couldn't invite our friends to join the party, we held the ceremony in our backyard. It was really a memorable event. Such a rich chapter in his life it had been. In future, when we look back on the past two years, we are sure the future will be better.
