COVID- 19 is an infectious disease caused by a newly discovered corona virus. This virus has affected the whole world. Most people who fall sick with COVID -19, they will experience symptoms and recover without treatment. This virus is transmitted through coughs or sneeze. Corona virus symptoms are fever, cough, and tiredness.

We can be infected by breathing in the virus, if we are within close distance of someone who has COVID -19 or by touching our eyes, nose or mouth. We can protect our self by following these steps.

Wash our hands frequently with soap and water or use alcohol based hand sanitizer. Avoid touching our eyes, nose and mouth. Follow the physical distance and we avoid to be in with contact people who are ill. We should stay home, when we are ill. We need to use a tissue when we cough or sneeze. If we use tissue immediately we want to put tissue in the garbage and wash our hands. If we do not have a tissue, sneeze or cough into our elbow. Limit our travel that is not necessary. Wear a face mask. This is one way to protect others in situations where we cannot keep a social distance.

Example: when we are in transit, grocery shopping, working place, getting a haircut or visiting someone indoors. During this time, it is important to wear the mask. We try to doing our part and to keep our place safe.
